Hello and welcome back! I love Thanksgiving, but Christmas is the holiday I go all out for when it comes to decorations. This year I was looking for a simple, inexpensive centerpiece that still looked pretty. Of course, I love to browse my local Dollar Tree and see what I can make. All of the pieces I used to make my Thanksgiving centerpiece this year are from Dollar Tree and I actually already had everything here at home, so I didn’t spend a thing!
For this Thanksgiving centerpiece, you will need:
- Fake flowers (I actually used the flowers from this diy)
- 3 flat bottom glass candle holders
- 4 glass candle stick holders
- E6000 glue
- 2 candle sticks
- Fake fall leaves
- 2 small fake pumpkins
- 2 small battery operated candles
- Gold washi tape (optional)
- 2 straw bales (optional)
I used three different types of flowers to make my floral arrangement. I like to separate each individual stem from the bunch so I can place them wherever I like.
I arranged the flowers in the flat bottom candle holder and it was ready to go on my table.
For the candlesticks, glue one of the flat bottom glass candle holders to one of the glass candle stick holders with the E6000 glue. Let it dry for several hours. These are perfect for holding the battery operated candles.
After my candle holders were dry, I used some sparkly gold washi tape I found at Dollar Tree to wrap around the bottom of the flat bottom glass candle holders. I spread out the fake leaves over my runner and placed the floral arrangement on top. I placed the fake pumpkins on top of the little straw bales in between the candles. And that’s it! I love how simple and cute this centerpiece turned out.
I can’t wait for all of the yummy Thanksgiving food. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Let me know in the comments!
