Hello and welcome back! I hope you all have had a wonderful winter thus far. I’ve been taking a short break from blogging and social media to really enjoy my break from school and spend time with my family. So much has happened this year and I can’t wait to see what 2018 will bring!
As you guys know, I love Sundays. Sundays are my day to hit the restart button and get ready for the upcoming week. So, how perfect is it that this New Year’s Eve is on a Sunday, and New Year’s Day is on a Monday!? I find this time of year so motivational. People are so happy and excited for the potential a new year brings.
I love reflecting at the end of a year and to think about what I want from the next. For me, staying organized in all aspects of life really helps me succeed. Today I wanted to share a few things that help me stay organized throughout the year!
My number one thing that helps me stay organized is my planner. I work a full time job, I’m a student, a blogger, a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend, dog mom, (you get the idea – I’m SO busy!) Having a planner helps me on days when I feel like I’m in a whirlwind. I can sit down and look at what is happening in my life. At the beginning of each semester in school, I write down the dates for the big assignments in my planner, so if I’m trying to make plans, I can plan accordingly. You can find planners pretty much anywhere. I always like having a planner with a fun or motivational saying on it. I found this really cute one at TJ Maxx.
Another thing that helps me keep myself on track is making lists. I’m a list person. I love making to do lists and crossing things off as I go. I feel so accomplished! I make a weekly list for the big things in my life and I write daily to do lists every night so I go to bed thinking about what the next day will be like.
I can’t wait to share with you all of the exciting things 2018 will bring!
What are you most excited about? Let me know in the comments!
