Happy Thanksgiving

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so happy this day has arrived. It’s so nice to relax and spend time with people who mean a lot to you. Preparing for holidays can be so stressful with all the shopping and traveling so it’s nice to finally relax when the holiday arrives. We are here in Pennsylvania now with Isaac’s family. The weather is quite chilly! We went for a short hike and I thought my hands were going to fall off they were so cold! Fortunately, I had gloves to keep me warm. I love colder weather. It gives me an opportunity to wear the warmer clothes that normally sit in my closet for most of the year! Continue reading “Happy Thanksgiving”

Fall Favorites 2017

Hello and welcome back! I hope your weekend has been as great as mine. Today I wanted to share some of my favorites for fall so far this year! I’ve included a little bit of everything, because I couldn’t narrow it down. (I just love everything related to fall too much!)

I went to a thrift shop with some friends last week and picked up a bunch of sweaters. I love thrift shopping. While I was there, I found this amazing leather jacket for under $15. Can you say steal?! It goes perfectly with leggings and booties. Of course, it hasn’t been cool enough to wear it outside here in Florida, but I’m fully prepared for when it finally is!

How to De-Stress Affordably

Hello and welcome back! First, I want to say I hope wherever you are that you and your family are safe. Hurricane Irma was a very real and very scary thing that happened here in Florida this week and I know so many others are struggling with other natural disasters recently. My heart goes out to you if you have been affected.

I don’t know about you, but this girl is ready for the weekend. Crazy is an understatement for how this week went. Despite all the madness, I’m so incredibly thankful to say that my friends and family are all safe and their homes are all okay. This storm was not as bad as we expected it to be where I live. I can’t stress enough how big of a relief that is. So many are still without power, lost their homes, or even their lives. Needless to say, this was a stressful week for so many of us.  Continue reading “How to De-Stress Affordably”

Summer Lovin’ – What I Wore

Summer days drifting away to the oh, oh the summer nights! (Any Grease fans out there?) How is it Thursday already? I can’t believe how fast this year is flying by.

One of my all time favorite summer things is barbecues – being outside with friends and eating delicious food is a recipe for a great time. Just as long as you don’t get any sauce on you!

I recently had barbecue with my family for my birthday. I posted this picture on Instagram and have gotten so many questions about what I wore! Continue reading “Summer Lovin’ – What I Wore”
