What I Wore – Broadway

Watching a musical on Broadway has been on my bucket list since I was a kid. Fun fact about me: I love to sing! I was in chorus from Kindergarten through high school. I was even in a school production of Annie when I was twelve. I played Grace, Oliver Warbucks’ assistant. One of the songs is called “NYC.” I remember singing it onstage and imagining what it would be like on Broadway. Earlier this week I was finally able to go to the Big Apple. It was everything I imagined it would be and more. The bright lights of Time Square, fancy people walking the streets in a hurry, the blaring horns – it was unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

On our first night there, we went to a production of Wicked at the Gershwin Theater. And I must say: OH. MY. GOD. There are hardly any words to describe how incredible it was. Isaac and I were simply blown away. If you are ever in NYC, I HIGHLY encourage you to see it! You will not be disappointed.

This was one of my favorite nights there. We got all dressed up and hit the town. Our hotel was right at Time Square so it felt amazing to walk out of the door and right into all of the hustle and bustle and straight to the show. I went for a really simple and classic look for our date night on Broadway. Here is what I wore:

My dress is from Macy’s. My pointed toe flats are from Report. I’ve had my clutch for years, but here’s one that’s similar. My earrings are from Charming Charlie and my bracelet is Kate Spade and was a gift from my best friend. Here is one that is similar.

Thanks so much for reading. I hope you are having an amazing day! This week has been so much fun, but I have to admit it was really nice to see our little furry babies again. After all… there’s no place like home!
